Dumb Cop
First of all let me say I never speed, I got all of that out of my system 20 years ago, with that being said I'll tell you this. I was tooling down the street yesterday, I had just pulled out of Advance Auto parts and had just got into second gear when a red Pontiac GTO passed me flying. I turned off to go into my neighborhood and a cop car screams up behind me with his lights on and orders me to pull to the side. I get out of the car and he walks up and asks me why I am driving so fast. He said he clocked me at 65 in a 40, I asked him where and he said when I passed him on Caraway Blv. I was never on Caraway and I just then remembered the car that had passed me flying. I told him about the GTO passing me and told him the cars are similar in design, the same color and he could have confused us. He got smart and told me "do you think I'm such a dumb ass that I wouldn't know the difference between a Mustang and a GTO? I clocked YOU! I let him rave on a few more minutes and he starts to get his ticket book out, and I casually said "I hope you are not writing me a ticket" he says "you bet I am"
and I said well it's gonna look real funny when I show the judge my receipt from Advance Auto Parts showing the time and date I was there and wouldn't have time to come from where you said you clocked me. He gave me a verbal warning and asked did I see where the GTO went........what an idiot.

if he was an asshole to me, i'd be an asshole to him.. i wouldn't point to where the GTO went because i dont want the cop to get a free mark on his quota

its also illegal to turn on your siren to fly through a red light, but cops do it anyways
