luis gt... or anyone technical

alright well my sis has an enV the older fat ones with no insurance and the wire that goes to the screen to tell it what image to project broke or snapped or whatever so now they just project white... and verizon wont do crap even though it's still under their one year internal/software warranty thing so i think they should do something about it but they said since it was from wear and tear they wont do anything.... so i'm now about to try and take it apart and solder it back together does anyone know how hard this could be? i mean i know a pretty good bit about electronics and they let some probably under trained chinese people fix em so i figure why cant i lol...

you mean the LCD? If so, you're screwed, they use ribbon cables, if they break, they're toast... I suggest you demand them to get a replacement.

yeah i'm kinda in a tight spot take it apart and void the warranty or go get denied again at verizon thier a buncha douches

you could check if the company that made the phone will service it.

check with the company that makes the celphone...

when i used cingular they didnt wanted to change my nokia.. but nokia covered the phone since it had months or w.e of warranty left with em..

i actually got it back together and it looks like it did before still works like it did might try the factory thing but she has a pink razr to so she can always use that if it doesnt work out

ok update somehow dropping it while the covers were off and letting pieces fly everywhere and putting them back together fixed it lol i'm a genius

it's not called old enV.. it's the V, just FYI. The enV is vx9900 while the V is vx9800.
