any gun owners on the board?

I am a die hard advocate of the 2nd amendment. I have a modest collection of firearms that would be larger if I hadnt been spending so damned much money on my car in the last 3 months!!!!

I have two Kimber .45s (these are my carry weapons)
I have a 1970 Colt Python .357 that is mint (it rarely gets shot)
I have a Colt Delta Elite 10 mm (unfired in the box)
I have a S&W 27-2 .357 (unfired in the box)
I have a Springfield P9 9mm (unfired in box)

and for deer hunting I have a Tika bolt action .270

I try to shoot once a week with my Kimbers at the range since I carry those and never know what might happen. If the day ever comes that I have to use one, I want to be as prepared as I can be.

my favorite piece in my collection is my python. its over 30 years old and looks new in the box.

Last year I had the pleasure of going here

http://olivestc.com/pages_folder/index.html

I knew someone that worked there and I got to shoot a fully auto AK, a fully auto M4, and blow up some C4 and dynamite.

It was a hoot.

I much preferred the M4 to the AK btw. No doubt the AK has an awesome history, but it was really uncomfortable to me, and the cycle time of the M4 was much faster.

I have a .380 Colt. I am looking into getting a 10mm Glock.

Also two other members that are firearms collectors are Regency2007 and drgnracin72.

you can actually find good deals on a mathews on ebay if you are patient and look.

of course now isnt the time of year to find a deal, but after season is over, they can be found.

I bought a Legacy on ebay a few years back and gave 650.00 and the bow was loaded with a quality sight, stabilizer, rest......and came with a nice case and several carbon arrows.

I will warn you.....once you shoot a mathews you probably wont be able to stand anything else.

I got rid of my mathews last year because I planned on upgrading to a switchback (newer model) and then all these car mods came and now im going to be stuck shooting an older Hoyt this year.......

not that a Hoyt isnt a good bow.....of course it is.......but it just isnt a mathews.

yeah, I realize that is still kind of high. If you already had a bow, you could just sell all of the accessories you got with the ebay purchase and it wouldnt be as high....

or just look for a naked bow.

at the time, I needed all of the extra stuff....and 650.00 was cheap when you consider the new bow with nothing on it costs that much.

my uncle has a mathews...the draw length was too long, and i couldnt really get a good shot, but it felt good...I doubt i will go hunting with a gun again, it just isnt fun anymore...I have slain two deer, both with a 12 gauge...I NEED to kill a nice buck with a bow now.
