Tech related ... but
okay wrong site i know i know...
i need help with an older car... just a point in the right direction ... the bunny will start but doesn't live for long... bout 3-5 seconds... then it dies... not a violent death... just doesn't stay alive is all... im thinking a vacuum leak but i haven't worked on an old car before... any input?? or ideas?? btw i got my gay sticker in the mail... it will go on as soon as it runs

its an 81 vw rabbit... with cis efi system... i don't have my bentley manual on it so i can start takin stuff apart to fin our whats wrong but yea it starts turns a few times and then just acts like its starvin... thats why i think it might be a vacuum leak ... or fuel shortage... i will need to get a fuel filter and check the fuel system as soon as mah bentley gets here

kk lemme see if i can get mai manual and go through it... hopefully its not bad ... so far no leaks so thats all good... but i don't know if its got fluids either
