This is on now. They have a panel of people discussing the case. A poll concluded that 62% of people nationwide do not believe that Vick has been unfairly singled out, but since the show is being shot in Atlanta, the majority of the crowd believes that he has been unfairly judged. That pisses me off. Vick has admitted to killing at least 8 dogs, and there has been plenty of evidence to prove that dog fighting had occured on his personal property. Ifd you continue to support Vick, or if you have not faced the facts, you are stupid, and you are oblivious situations. If the highest paid athlete in the National Football League wants to participate in illegal activities because he feels the need to gamble, stick his ass in jail and make him forefit his earnings to a real society such as the Humaine Society. And just a note to Atlanta, im sorry your role-model has proven to be a heartless retard, but your gonna have to find a new role model. If they would have pushed all possible accounts, he could be locked in the slammer for 40 years, but the accounts that have been upheald result in a maximum sentence of 5 years. And people really think he has been unfairly singled out? Never let him touch a football (or an animal) again. And, America, please give the racist issues a break, we know that Caucasions do as much bad as African Americans, and any other race. I would have this same opinion if this topic involved Peyton Manning, Trent Green, or Kurt Warner.

I agree. his punishment is fair.
He should do all 5 years in Prison with no chance of parole.

I don't think he should do 40 years for killing dogs.

40 years in prison is a long time.

Im not saying that he deserves 40 years either, but im stating that his MAXIMUM sentence is 5 years now. How would you feel if he gets 6 months in jail, and probation? Most of would be content with his MAXIMUM sentence, but there is definiatly no gurantee that he will get the max sentence.

Yea, im sure all dogs have the maintality to hurt humans, but Pit Bulls do it so much that is a logical conclusion to think that they have some extra potential to strike. Lets make it a poll... Fairly judged, or unfairly judged?

thinking about it i think the media just reports about pitbull attacks and thats it

so we are led to believe pitbulls are bad but i bet if you looked at the statistics of it all then the attacks by each type of dog would be pretty much the same

Vicks punishment is fair, it is getting blown out of propotion due to his status, and Pits alone are not to blame. Any breed can be dangerous.
