ideas on new car for mom

ok heres the story:

About over a week ago my mom got into a major wreck and was hit and totaled her 04 jetta it was a 1.8t. I will try to post a pic of the car. She went to the hospital I wont get into all the details just yet.

So is what I need are some ideas from all of yall for a new car for her I want something safe cause the jetta saved her life it could have been alot worse. Only one requirement it has to be TURBO she likes the power, I had a little work done to her jetta.

Now I want something with more power and faster but needs to be safe I was thinking about the jettas again cause we know how safe they are or a volvo, audi, bmw.

My mom does like how fast my 93 stang is and said she liked the new ones. But how safe are the new ones?

Any ideas will help and thank you for the input. By the way what ever I get her I get to do what ever I want to it.

mustangs rank high on nhtsa crash testing, but they are so light and easily assembled/disassembled. i would look into the audis/bms/mercedes/volvos, as these cars are heavier, still provide great power, and the weight is a major factor in absorbing some of the initial shock of a collision. plus these cars always rank high on nhtsa crash testing, and the service to these vehicles in unmatched

Just go to the top. Get her a BMW 325 or 330, sporty, cool, and pretty quick with the 6spd. If your pockets are relly deep than go for the BMW 6 series. BTW baby seats look good in a BMW my wife is a grand mother, and my grand kids love the Beemer

I would have to vote for one of the audi quatros. they look nice, ride nice, turboed, and AWD. A4 or S4... Or like said before if you got deep pockets you can just up to the 6's or 8's

As a person who has already lost a 2005 stang i can say if you get the stang with reinforced beams in most of the car your actually pretty safe i was driving down to florida and i was in my 2005 GT wasn't my fault but i was hit hard enough on the driver door that i was in the hospital for a little while when i went tolook back at the car i found out my door was shredded and my rear axle taken out.... got the police report and found out my car spun 3 times without the axle ( dumb luck for me I looked and saw the gas tank was rubbed anymore spins i wouldn't be here ) but all in all they're safe but you can go to most junk yards and see that they are in there alot.... I loved that car and i had it for only 4 days and then it was wrecked.... i am still sewing the guy for hitting me and so far hes payed for my medical and my new car so far all in all i would give her the stang but ask how safe can you make a stang
