It's come time to paint the old blue beater again, and I can't decide what I want to do. I'm getting ready to tear it all apart into more peices than I care to think about and put it on a rotisserie. I'm going to have the whole thing media blasted and start over with it, and get it done all first class.

I can't decide if I want to paint it an original color, or a color I like more. It was originally medowlark yellow, and I don't like that shade of yellow. However, I do like yellow, and if it's not an original color, I'll probably paint it a cool shade of yellow.

So what do you think? An original color, or a good shade of yellow?

if you paint it yellow...then you should try and paint it the color yellow that was on the 69 mach 1

same color as the '95 BOSS shinoda. notice i said COLOR not style just the same colors.

A bright yellow like the picture you posted. The picture I posted is the original yellow.

go with what you want brah. i am going to do the same thing when i finally get around to getting my 66. no matter what color it came as, it will end up being red. lol

i mean, if you are going to take the time to tear everything down, media blast and repaint it from the ground up. might as do something that you are happy with. i would hate for you to get all that done and then look at it and say, "well hell, that sucks."

Those are my thoughts, and it's not like I'm ever going to sell it. Hell, I told my wife that it's going to be my casket :wink

The only advantage to painting original is that it will hold a little more value, but as I said, it's not for sale........ever

well if it doesnt matter then...if you like yellow....then go with the bright yellow or nice dark glossy black (thats whats going on my 69)
