has gone into recovery mode and i must restore it before i can use it again

does this mean i am gonna lose all my music?

What the hell did you do to it put to many pictures of naked guys on it and it contracted a virus

its pink because i got it brand new 40 bucks was my only choice of color

and damnit i have all the music but i am not sure what 1000 songs i had on it because its a nano

so i have to search through 60 gb of music and re-select a 1000 songs that i like which is just a bitch damnit damnit damnit

i used to have a giant playlist of my ipod backed up but it stopped at 266 songs

and over the summer some how my songs on my ipod built up to like 991 because i started converting to AAC to save space and fit more

and my music is spread over 3 computers this is going to be a bitch

actually aac takes up more space than a 192 mp3. everything on my ipod's are in mp3 format.

my 20gig has done the recovery mode a couple of times. did you just do a firmware upgrade on it?

no but i did just update my itunes to the latest version

if u have itunes and the songs are saved on there just resynce ur ipody and they will be back on there
