Should i trade?

It runs 10.67. Well I was thinking about workin out a trade with him for my 02 gt. It runs mid 13s. Should i do it... i want a fast car so bad but it would just cost so much to make mine run 10s. He said he would probably do it if it was a straight up trade. Would you guys do it? I really need some advice

I wouldnt..its an auto and has purple seats...and a shit ton of miles.

well..... I would probably buy a small truck to drive everyday... but i could drive that car everyday if i want to... it runs on pump gas. im just lookin at the money vs speed and what not

lol... no human can outshift an auto.. most people want a manual to play with and spin and crap.. but when your car runs in the 10s. it will do that no matter what kinda tranny it has... but... the color is no big deal. that can be changed.

I know the car is built up but he is selling it for 5grand...seems to me that straight up trade is a rip off..you could sell your car for more than 5 gs. If you sold your car you could have enough to buy his and a beater..a really shitty beater.

yeah... its at 5gs right now.. but it also has 3 days and the reserve has not been met..... so i dunno... oh and btw. im deffinitely not thinkin it really has that many miles on it being that it has a newly built motor. ha

Usually track cars tend to break down frequently, really depends on how well it was built and what type of parts were used so if you want to trade your car in for a car that'll be sitting a lot until track day then go for it, but a equal trade? how many miles does your gt have?

dont trade man... you'll regret it lol. That SOB consumes sooooooooooooooooo much gas that idk why you would even consider driving it more than 1 or 2 days outta the week. Plus its been modded the SHIT out of, has 100k, and i bet 1/4 of that are driven extremely hard, and like Grahfer said, its going to break down alot more frequently than you're daily driver would.

but i mean its your decision

I say no. Forge the motor in you GT and add a blower. You got mid to low 11s and alot more reliability that that car. Plus your car is woth alot more than 5k. Pass. Mod the GT more.
