SCARLET FEVER...

A kid @ daycare where Ame's kids go has Scarlet Fever. Its basically Strep throat with a rash. Fairly easy to treat. Antibiotics will kill it off.

Here's the kicker. He's alergic to Penicillian.

He doesn't have it, but in the event... HMUSN. Any thoughts?

Yeah, he's allergic to that stuff too. I think he needs to just live in a bubble lol

my wifes allergic to codine, sulfa, tavist, ammoxicillin(sp) and pennicilline(sp). there are lots of (non

cillin) antibiotics.... just not quit as strong

No, he can do the strawberry ones, but he has to get lotioned up right after a bath and we have to use ALL free and clear laundry soap. Hypoalergenic febreeze and NO eggs...

Wow man it would be hard to live like that I like Pop tarts too much

and scented shampoo and regualr Febreeze I like those three things too much to give them up

there are many natural antibiotics, look at the lists of foods that are natural antibiotics, antibiotic herbs, let the imune system do the fighting... thats what it is for

Thats how my parents raised me. I get sick maybe, MAYBE once a year. And even then, its only for a day or 2.

my dad's allergic to penicillin too. there are so many antibiotics that are closely related to penicillin, though. the kid can't be allergic to all of them. the doctor should find something that'll do the trick. i remember my sister having scarlet fever when she was a kid. she was miserable for a couple of days.
