focus mazda same engine?

do the focuses with the 2.3 and the mazdas with the 2.3 use the same engine design?

they both also have the 2.0

any1 have any insight?

well the ford 2.3 makes like 145hp and the mazda makes 10 more

i was thinkin its pretty much the same engine with a different output so its more power sacrificing gas mileage

cuz i kno the SVT makes more than 150 on the 2.0

Yes they are.

Just like the Miata/323 engines are the same as the 91-96 Escort/Tracer.
