PAINNN my mouth is about to expload!

Welll im an idiot and opted not to have my wisdom teeth removed like 1year ago. well now one of them has swollen all the way to my throat and i cant even bite down without biting into my gum because it is so swollen.. I might go to the emergency room tomorrow..I took some oxycodone (simular to Percocet)..idk

my gf had that happen to her.......she massaged the gum with her tonge for hours until it finally just popped on her.........she screamed.....then calmed down.....then screamed again

I've had mine out for about 3 years now. Greatest thing ever. They were coming in at such an angle and puttin pressure on the ones in front of 'em. God damn that hurt.

Somehow, they were causing a few of my other teeth to cavitate. Least thats what the dentist told me

Yea.. mine are just compacted and having alot of trouble breaking thrue my gums and thus causing PAIN and infection..

when do they normally come in? I can feel a small point of a tooth coming out now, but it has been like that for a few months...no pain or anything yet

Listen, you could have an absess and it can KILL you. What you are feeling is an infection that could go to your heart or spine. Endocarditis and Menengitis both can kill. People die from it all the time becasue they think its just a tooth ache.

i was lucky enough to have the teeth that they would have caused problems for removed the year before due to botched root canals........

they grew in at a real ackward angle too.....i dunno what i would have done if i had to go through it for real

How long has it been hurting? A tooth infection is not something to fuck around with. Absolutly no bullshit. It can kill you.

The outside of my throat isnt swollen just the very top of the inside. It hurts extremely bad to swollow.. And i cant move my tongue over there because it hurts to do that also.

It has been slowly hurting worse and worse for 3 days. like last night it hurt pretty bad and wasnt as swollen and today it is the worste which is really swollen and alot of pain.

How long? Can you take ibuprofen? Try eating some ice if it hurts to swallow. That'l numb/shrink the swelling

Well if you have swelling of anything close to your throat going to a doc is probably usually a good idea if you like breathing
