my neighbor had his car stolen right out from under him. They brought a tow truck in and just flatbeded it out of the parking lot.

also, 3 days late on a payment is crap. My mom was over 4 months behind on her old lease trying to keep a roof over r heads 4 years ago and they didn't take her car. They threatened too, but as long as she got the payments out after the point of threatening, they didn't care.

when a bank or and lending institute is about to forclose on a loan or repo a car, u get warnings. Like Zip said, they'd rather get the money from u late then take a huge loss. Hell, when i'm late on my cell phone bill i get a call from cingualr telling me i'm late.

Somebody most likely screwed up at ur Bank, because like mike said, it takes more then 3 days to process something like that. Just remember to stay calm bro.

if your telling the truth you should talk to someone. I own a business and have two ford rangers, one explorer, two grand cherekees and an escape for the business. then my stang and a Bike. I am three days late all the freaking time and close to a month a lot of times. I have never had anything repoed. Not to mention I am a Private Detective, that is the business i own, and among other things I do work for the largest car repo company in the mid atlantic region. I find the cars that the "repo guys" (which are just tow truck drivers) cant find. I have never heard of a car being repoed for 3 days late ford credit couldnt even get them the notice that fast.

Maybe this was a mistake......it happens!!!!!!!!!! They could be playing it off.

The more I read this line of logic, the more I lean towards this idea. I drove tow truck for a couple of years, and there were lots of shenanigans going with car theft rings pulling themselves off as repo guys.

its either a mistake or bs. they are in the business of making money if you established a good payment record they want you to make payments they lose a ton of cash by repoing and reselling. 3 days is crazy either a mistake or bs like i said. although i only read the first page so far haha

Either you missed 3 payments and didnt realize, the bank F*d, or someone stole it...did they leave the plates with you?????
