Can xbox360 play hd-dvd's?

it will upconvert just like all the cheapo upconverting dvd players on the market. i do it whenever i decide tp through a regular movie in with my projector it just sends a 720p or 1080i signal to the projector i didnt say it made it an hd quality dvd but just upconverted the output
