Hehe my grandpa is a beast. First when he was younger, he got shot in his eye when they were buck shooting. Well he insisted on picking up the buck they just shot, cutting it up and sticking it in the coolers 'fore he went to the hospital. No joke. Now he has a glass eye. Then one when we were out shotting, something happened with his guy and he got this big chunk of metal in his hand. Well he threw on some neosporin, stitched it up himself (he was a dr) wrapped his hand and proceeded to finish up our skeet shooting, and then spend the rest of the day fishing... nothing to numb his hand or anything. He couldn't reach the chunk of metal so he just stitched it in. You can feel it in his hand

So "buck shooting": is that also known as hunting? Not to sound like a dick. Maybe its a New England thing.

Does the metal cause him any problems now-a-days? In the winter? Anything like that?

Yeah well you can hunt anything like ducks but buck shooting is hunting bucks specifically And as far as the winter he says he has to make sure to wear gloves when he goes outside so it doesn't get real cold. I imagine its kind of like when I have to take my piercings out on really cold days cause they're f'ing hurt.

When it gets REALLY cold like New England winter cold. Or when we go snowboarding or something. The metal gets really cold. Only the ones in my ears. I have a custom piercing that goes through 5 piercings in one of my ears and wraps around the outside, its a dragon, and that one is no fun in the wintertime.

I can take one (same for you HB I don't have a digital right now but will tomorrow)... mostly its a dragon that goes from the top of my ear down to the bottom along the helix. Its too heavy to just sit on the top piercing so it goes through a few. It's kinda odd but pretty awesome
