So yeah, I've seen the commercials, checked out the website and read the customer reviews. Anybody got one? They seem pretty sweet on the surface.

Thats one of the things I am wondering about. The longevity and durability of them.

Also, it would eliminate me needing a laptop, a digital camera (potentially) and it would take up less space than the above items...

yeah yeah, but i still dont like it. But hey, if you can afford it, more power to you...My laptop was bought for me, and my phone was $10, and my bill is like $27 a month...I am happy with my Samsung flip phone. lol

Work gave it to me for freeeh! It stress tests really well.. its amazing. And the digital quality (pictures) is fantastic. I mean it competes with the lesser of my two digital cameras easily (the better is a $3500 professional camera

)

They are stupid I wouldnt buy one if you eliminate your laptop with it how really wants to go on the internet or type something with touch screen 3" sreen or whatever it is. I would never buy one heard only bad things about the internet on them how its slow as hell and most of the time doesnt work just get a nice flip phone low montly bills and save the money for the car. Unless you want to and have the money buy it and tell us how you like it

I have one and I like it. I had an 8525 before and it beats it hands down. I still need my lap top because it can't open a 128 bit encryption that Schlumberger uses but for surfing other BS on the internet it works just fine. It isn't that expensive, but you could ALMOST buy a good n2o kit for the price

I don't have any problems with the internet on my phone. It's really not slow at all. And its hands down a hell of a lot faster than any other phone/palm pilot out there. Internet may vary a little bit in different areas? *shrugs* I took it with me on my road trip to KY and the all of the way down and back didn't have a single problem or slow connection.

i know some people with it and your internet speed depends on your cell service- dead zone = no internet. you have to *zoom* in a lot to read the internet b/c everything is so tiny on the screen, then you scroll for miles. the phone part is kind of cool and the touch screen is sleek, but for the money and service, id get a regular phone.

True... but if you're the kind of person with a blackberry or palm pilot, or already like using the internet or even just email on your phone, well then its better than that. Not to mention the cheapest plan is only about $20 bucks more than the cheapest regular phone plan, which doesn't include texting or internet.

If your worried about scratching the screen, I have an invisible shield for my sprint mogul, which is a touch screen too. It works great no scratches on it and its always in my pocket with keys or coins. Just make sure when you put it on that you spray it a lot because it sticks to your fingers. I have a couple small bubbles on the top right of the screen.

I've played with it. Its a good phone just depends what you like and what you want on it.

my grandma bought one and she loves it. I've used it a lot also and plan on buying one for my next phone. It loads really fast also. So far the only people that i've seen dog it are the ones that haven't used it.

My gf had one and it locked up 4 days after she bought it. Plus it had a pin size hole in the screen. They gave her a new one and so far its working well.
