Military guys...

I know this is kinda a long shot, but I was wondering if any of the military guys here work with, or know someone that works with C-130 gunships, or anything else that works with 105mm ammunition. Me and some buddies have an idea to make beer mugs out of 105 shells with a 20mm handle. I think it'll be pretty sweet all polished up. We are still having some issues with how to make them clean enough inside to actually drink from em, but if we can't think of anything, even just as a decoration, I think it's pretty cool. Anyone that knows how they can get their hands on 105 shells, let me know. Thanks

its going to be pretty hard to get the round off of the boat, really when are they going to use them, in combat is about the only time and when thats happening you are not really thinking, "hey i need to save this to make a mug out of it"

Already done the shot glasses. They polish up nice...look like chrome.

why? depleted uranium has already decayed into a stable isotope of uranium. hence "depleted". you're not going to get contaminated from it or anything. trust me on this one, i'm a submarine nuke MM, at least till Wednesday.

sorry to break it to ya, but the whole thing goes out the tube. there's no "shell" like their is for ship mounted guns.
