I'm sick and bored. How to install LEDs


In my expedition. I want them to come on w/the interior lights. What will I need to do it. I want ti in the front foot wells and the back seat then in the very back. Could I just wire then in a series curcuit? I've never done anything with LEDs boefore so I'm a nOOb lol.

You don't want to do them with a little switch? They are much easier that way cause you can just wire them into the cig. lighter...

Red I wired mine on a separate switch to a 12v adapter socket in my console. If you want them on with your interior lights, simply get your test light out, and find the fuse for your interior lights. Then wire the LED's in to that circuit. Just run the wire from each led up to that circuit. Also make sure you put a fuse on them, up close to where you splice the wires in to the source. LED's are a minimal draw, but that doesn't mean bad shit can't happen if one of those wires becomes bared or pinched over the years.

Blown fuse > burnt vehicle.

You can get one, but a decent set comes w/ a relay that wires into the fuse block to prevent overloads
