Nuttin, The blue light comes on the amp, but nothing to the subs. i have a 1200watt sony amp and X2 800w pinoeers, and a Duel(thats the brand name) In-dash dvd Player. on this dvd player it has a extra wire just for subs, but theres 5 wires, it has Rear R/L and Front R/L and Sub/Woofer cord any1 know what could be goin on?

dont use duel. They are horrible. Yeah, they make some good looking stuff, but I've heard tons of horror stories and experience one myself.

did i used the red/white wires on the back of the deck named (Rear Speakers) and in the input on the amp, im thinking i got a wireing problem with my amp. ground not in a good spot? could that do it. i remember with my old sony amp(600watt) the light went red if the gound was not good. but maby thats is the problem.

Theres plenty of others out there. My motorized cd player started to open and close all by itself. Almost crushed a cd. So I got the cd out punched it. Took it back to best buy can got a JVC cd player. Then shortly I got the GT and couldnt use the JVC since I have the mach... Anyways. I seriously urge you to save up for a better one. If you want talk to Chris J. He put a badass touchscreen cd/dvd/other stuff I think player in his car.

i ant got the money for a expanxive one thats why i got duel for 399 for a dvd player it was s good price but if it don't work with my subs it is going back for a pinoeer deck

If your ground wasn't in a good spot you would know. You would have blown a fuse. As long as your ground is on metal your fine. Check your wiring from the amp to the player. Check the amp wiring, and the sub wiring. First place to check. You may be getting power, but you may not be getting power from the player to the amp to power the subs.

hmm ill dot hat it took me 3hrs to put in my sub box. i made it to big so i kinda had to strip my whole trunk to get it in -.- i mean EVERYTHING wven the spare tire haha, but it is in and looks Sweet 2 busted fingers thow but thats a small price to pay if these ever work

another thing i got a Extra blue witre marked "Sub Woffer" but thetes only one wth is that about? no amp ive seen only had one input. always 2 Left and right

yea wired from the sub to the terminal on the speakerbox or wired from the speaker to a hole int he speaker box that comes out to the amp

ive never hooked a indash player before so im not sure if its anything different....the amp run a wire to your battery with a inline fune right off of your battery, one wire to a ground(bolt to the seat is good but grind away the paint}, one wire to your fuse box for the remote(something like your windshild wipers that only has power with your key on},rca wires to the red and white plug on the back of the cd player, i always ran my rca and speaker wires and remote wire on the passenger side toghter and the power and on the driver side to keep them apart to avoid any noise in the speakers

also go through the setting on the cd player and make sure the subwoofer is turned on, i know u can disable it and turn it off and what not
