Burt Builds a bandit tonight

Just a heads up...Burt Reynolds will be building a TA like the one he drove in "Smokey and The Bandit". Should be hilarious.

10:00 eastern time on DYI Network- Channel 121 if comcast

my dad had a 78 i loved that car but it got rusted to hell after i was born bc he concentrated on raising me and my sister... and we didn't have the money to restore it so we sold it for parts... but damn i miss that car

My dad has one exactly like it except silver and he did so many modifications to it...

there was a bandit on speed channel about 2 hours ago that had a c6 z06 engine with 605hp

my dad had one too!! but he totalled it in 88, the year before i was born. i wish he still had it now, i wouldve taken it and dropped an ls1 in it

the show last night was just alright... I dont need a half hour on how they found their first car on the side of the road. Like that was a odd and rare find...please. I know of 2 around here in baltimore that are just sitting in the yard.

And it should be called "burt supervises year 1 build a bandit". burt cant even move and looks like he is made of wax. Actually it was very scary to watch.

I will have to watch the show for the build and not for burt. It would have been hillarious to watch burt build that car...the man had a great sense of humor when he was functional...(maybe he was drugged

)
