ATT Air card


Does any one know about these things?
I have dial up and this is the only solution to my slow internet.
I wana know if i can put it on a router and split the signal between computers.
It is the serra wireless aircard 875u

as far as i know u pay 100 bucks for a pc card or usb card that goes into your laptop and its like 60 bucks a month, and its just for one computer, which makes me think......im sure u can get the usb card and put that into a desktop and get internet connection

i am sure their has to be some way to run it through a router however i haven't heard of a router that you can plug your card into. and i am not sure how fast those cards are to run multi computers on one.

yeah whiteboy thats what im talking about. It can swich it between computers bc it has a usb conection. I want to put it throu a router so i can conect to xbox live with my 360. some of the routers have usb and i was wondering if i could run it thru router to xbox. Only reason to the router would be for the xbox otherwise i would just be stiching the device

I work with air cards every day...

Normally it is through your cell phone company...You can pay by the byte or by the month...

The PCMCIA ones are the best IMHO...The USB ones are flakey...
