i played vietnam back in the day.. then 1942 (desert combat mod > *), then BF2 (and SF) and then BF2142.. all great games.

battlefield vietnam is the best battlefield game ever.. i uninstalled it a while back, but i will install it again and we can play.. my favorite maps were operation irving and flaming dart and the other one.. started with an H i think.. it was kind of a dark map with muddy water and boats and hueys and stuff

Never played Vietnam, but BF1942 DC mod, BF2, and BF2 SF.

bf1942 was great. Got to love the guys from trama studios (i think that's the name) for desert combat. Battlefield vietnam sucked. I dont know about now but when i played it the game was so unbalanced. They use to refer to the m60 as human tanks. BF2 was fantastic. I loved it. I havent played 2142 yet but i hear good things.

If i ever get my high speed internet back i'll start some bf2 up again

yeah.. its a great game.. i love the fact that you can just cruise around in a huey, chinook, F4, jeep, boat, whatever, while listening to vietnam era music
