debate
I have a fellow co worker who thinks a turbocharger is a supercharger and a supercharger is a turbocharger. can someone explain that a "Supercharger" runs off the accessory belt and that a "turbo" runs off the exhaust manifold which makes it a different style of FI. yes they both do the act of Force induction but in a different way which give them a different name. thanks for helping

exactly but... he sayz a supercharger is a turbo yes they both use turbons but the spull up in a different way which gives them a different name thats what the argumentis all about. the name of the 2 which depick the to apart

the only thing i am trying to get him to agree with is that if you ask for a supercharger you get a belt driven device, if you ask for a turbo you get an exhaust driven device plain and simple.....
