43 year old Randy Couture fuckin dominated Silvia. Silvia had 40 pounds, 6 inches, and a foot reach advantage on Couture. That was an awesome fight

Hes not retired officially ,even though thats what some reports said. Technically he has "resigned" from the UFC because they couldnt sign Fedor Emelianenko,so Randy feels like there no one left to fight on his level.

Hes partly right.

Yeah it was considering the physical advantages Silvia had over him. He dominated Silvia the entire fight, plus in like the 1st 30 seconds Silvia got rocked with a hard right.

it was a great fight. silvia got his ass beat. but if you remember Randy lost to Iceman, so there was people on his level to fight.. he just got beat by him lol. and since jackson beat iceman, i would love to see a randy vs jackson fight

i can't even watch boxing anymore. it's boring to me. i'll watch a few seconds, then i keep waiting for the takedown lol.
yeah, that was the best fight i've seen all year. i knew Randy would pull it off. i personally can't stand Tim Sylvia.

2 different weight classes. sure, Randy could cut weight and fight at 205 like he did in the past, but i don't see the point. he's doing pretty well at heavyweight. first with Sylvia, then he fucked up Gabriel Gonzaga, too. and made it look easy. i guess after you fight someone as big as Tim Sylvia, a guy like Gonzaga doesn't seem that big lol

Their is no bigger title than to be the heavyweight champion in the UFC as far as MMA goes.

Randy walks around at 245lbs and still has good definition. Thats a more natural weight for him,so cutting to 205 is not that important. Hes been there and done that.

Randy is the only fighter to have held championship titles in both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions of the UFC, as well as the only five-time champion in UFC history.

He has nothing left to prove unless hes fighting the absolute #1 contender,and no on out there is really challenging for that spot except Fedor. And hes not coming to the UFC.

Ive been watching boxing arguably longer than anyone up here,and I can tell you that boxing has taking a nose dive in my eyes. I enjoy watching amateur fights more than professionals nowadays. The bureaucracy of it has tainted the sport (yes taint).

The De La Hoya vs. Mayweather fight was the last great chance for the WBA to regain its viewer ship ,and it just didn't deliver what everyone hoped for.

Yeah I grew up on boxing and am boxer 11 years, I know that is has taken a heavy hit especially when the contender gets more views than an actual pro fight does! I like MMA and as for Randy, theres only one left but as already stated above he's not coming to UFC. If randy came down to 205 to fight Jackson he being Randy would get embarrsed!
