Not quite yet. To be honest, I am scared that my times will be extremely embarrasing...Once I can get someone to loan me their stock 17's or 18's from a GT, I will take it there. I am looking for 13.3 to 13.5 because the car is a fatass haha

Near my school..I flew home...one of my buddies has my car keys incase the fire actually reaches the school so he can drive it outta there

Well I am in a similar predicament...being a college kid, my rents like to help me out over christmas and birthday (very close together for me). I can either get the D/S or get cash towards my supercharger so I can get it earlier...what do you guys think?

i would go with the D/S 1st, since it will go good with the supercharger.

I have the same predicament as you... except i will have enough to buy a charger. I decided to wait a little longer and buy gears, driveshaft and other things first.

I know it will, but I might be able to get my blower at the beginning of summer! Dont you think that would be worth it to get the blower first?

aluminum driveshaft that weighs 17 lbs. It's a solid drive shaft compared to the two piece stock that weighs 45.

helps a whole lot! but if your talking about tuning after you install a d/s and the d/s being your only mod then no it doesnt help.

yea how much did it cost you like $100 at most right? the driveshafts for the S197's range from 600-1000! aint that some bullsh*t!

06saleen, if your able to get the blower sooner because you save the cash rather than getting the shaft right now, I'd wait. I just did the spydershaft in my car, and I still got the seat of the pants feel that most talk about once I did it, even though I had my full supporting cast of mods on the car since the spring.

The blower is a big hit, not that the 500.00 is small change for a spyder shaft, but 4500 to 5k is a tough nut to swallow, I'd shoot for charging first if your positive the blower is in your future. Maybe a tax return follows and that blower is in your hands sooner than you think.
