ehh idk where the hell the 280 hp came from .. they came with 350hp with 460tq. and heavy? 4600 pounds is light for a truck. that thing would molest most mustangs on this site. I even messed around with one before, didnt stand a chance... some people need to research shit before posting.

they can be made crazy fast.

a 99-04 GT doesn't have shit on an L unless it's modded pretty well.

how come they never made a new lightning from the new body style because the f150 is already going to change up a bit again...

SVT is still around right they are the ones who do the gt500?

how often do you see saleen mustangs at a dealer ship or on the road? My point exactly. They wont allow that kind of a car to sit outside.

a ford dealership about 30 minutes down the road has saleen, roush, and shelby/svt vehicles in stock all the time

We have a dealership up here that had about ten in the summer. Red, yellow, black, white, blue, you name it. They sat outside the entire time they were there. Looks like they still have one left. Metro Ford in Schenectady, NY is on a major, major street up here so they sell large volumes on site. They even park them right next to the road so everyone can see. They handle all kinds of top end Fords. They also had a convertible Saleen outside some months back. It was there for 3 weeks before some guy bought it in cash. $29,xxx. I wish I had money like that.

Just so you guys know 01+ Lightnings run around a 13.9 stock...

A S197 will beat them stock for stock and a 99-04 with decent tires and a good driver will take them as well...

But like I said...I love them...And a lightning will prolly be my next vehicle...

no doubt stock for stock, theres a 1200 lb weight difference. I love both cars, and if i could get a lighting id sell my rustang in a heart beat

I don't know, i guess since i've lived here all my life i rarely notice blind turns.. but it makes for good motocross'

Get a Harley pretty much the same as the Lightning but with 4 doors so you can carry people around. I love mine. I hate to get rid of it but I can't keep with everything coming up.

i do love harleys and i even thought about getting one but it takes a little work to get them to the level a stock L is on..

The only thing you need to do is change the pulley and get a tune. You will pretty have the same thing as the Lightning motor wise. You have more weight on the Harley's so even with that stuff the Lightning will still be quicker.
