need a lil help with my in dash...

i bought a kenwood excelon (i think the model is ddx0717) in dash dvd player for quite a large bit of money and i hooked it up and it has to have a 4 number password. well now the guy i bought it from is no where to be found and i looked up and fought a way to reset the password with the remote but the problem is i have no remote...

can anybody think or find anything else?

^ If its a newer model and a local stereo shop carries it,they can probably order you one. Other wise look for an online/authorize Kenwood dealer for help.

This should probably be in the tech section bro.

EDIT - I Googled that part # and it didnt bring back anything.

Kenwood doesnt carry it anymore But you can look up local dealers through their site.

Or type in the name and model in Google, and you will get back a lot of online stores that carry it and individual remotes.

Your gonna have to get the remote man. Any authorized dealer should be able to get one.
