good try but no. .72/5 is (im assuming a type-o for) .072/5 which equals 1/x, not x.

nice. i had enough physics in high school; i am only taking two sciences in college, and i am finishing up my last semester of college math now (and its my first semester of college)

well its just basic algerbra and i failed that in highschool ... but no one noticed so i went on to take calc and AP physics and did okay i just can't do some stupid math for some reason

thats common though. mostly, in higher math, you are graded on concepts and formulations, not the algebraic steps between and at the end to get final results. rarely do i find final numeric answers as much as i create formulas that are universal and reusable for any number... a good higher level math tests concepts, not algebraic responses...

by the way i think you multiply both sides by x in other words x/1 (to get rid denominator) than you divide.
