I work for a Zoo, a conservation organization.
I hate to say it but I am kinda sick of thinking "green".
Its a good thing but its pretty brainwashy there.

Anyway one of their "tips" is that its better to turn off your car VS ideling it for short periods.

I say the heat cycle and start up wear is worse than the constant idle.
Wearing out your car and junking it is bad for the environment too.

Anyway whats better for the environment and teh car
-idle or start and stopping
