Get a toyota tacoma instead, toyota has a better name when it comes to the small to midsized pickups. But heck, you can get a nice F150 for the same price as those trucks

Go w/ the Frontier. If you want a truck built like a truck, thats the best bet.

Unless you can swing this:

:wink

Actually Tacomas and Frontiers get about the same gas mileage. And the v6 Frontier can pull about 6,500 lbs. I'm thinking of getting one. (To get that pulling power out of a Tacoma costs about 4k more and its not as comfortable to haul things with) They've gotten fantastic reviews from everyone I know. No problems, super reliable great for pulling. I pulled my trailer with my friends Nissan, 10 times nicer than my f250. They're less expensive than the fords too, and I can't believe I'm saying this but I like the quality better. I've always always owned ford trucks and never thought I'd go another route. Everyone said Chevy Chevy Chevy but you pay so much extra for the comfy ride I wasn't going that route. The Frontier is a fantastic truck. Rams are horrible to drive. So fricken uncomfy! I mean I'm looking big time into towing, I'm not sure if you are. But honestly the v6 in the tacoma pulls 1000lbs decently, they at 1500 but I tried that and fuck I felt like the truck was gunna break.

Tehe you get brownie points HB

The Tacoma is less girlie than it used to be it used to be THE GIRLIE truck, but its still fricken girl. Hell I'm a girl and one of the reasons I won't buy one is they're suck girlie trucks (and they pull like shit)

Accually, Ford won the manufactures points last year in the WRC.

the frontier has 261 hp and unlike the toyota it doesn't require 91 gas....
I have a f150 super crew, 76 chev 4x4 and 2 other chevy trucks....
but I was impressed with the frontier power. I have a offer from a stealership of 19995 for and '08 4 door with power option group and limited slip rear

I have always liked the ford f-series pickups, especially the
ones from early 80's. I'm not too crazy about the frontier though,
I'm more into reliability in the long run, then quality in the short run.
I mean, how many 30 year old japanese truck do you see on the road?

He's looking for a newer truck, and I can tell you from experience the new fords have a lot more issues than the old ones. The frontier also hasn't been around for 30 years, so it's not an accurate (scientifically speaking) comparison to make
