Al Sharpton needs to STFU. I'm not racist but it seems that 90% of black people are like "I'm black, poor me" when all you see on the news is they raped a 90yo women or shot a convienience store owner in the face or some shit like that. I don't think it is a coincidence that like 65% of the prison population is black.

the cop was totally justified. my dad's retired NYPD and it happened to him a few times that he almost dropped the hammer on a kid with a toy gun. sometimes it's hard to tell, orange tip or not. if it's dark or whatever. plus, your adrenaline's going and all you can hear is your heat pounding in your chest. it's scary. all these people protesting and wanting to sue this cop are overlooking the fact that regardless of whether the shooting was justified or not (which it was), that cop still has to live with the fact that he shot and killed a kid. it won't make it any easier on him knowing that he did nothing wrong. that's a punishment worse than a civil suit, IMO...

Just recently here in Toledo we had race riots when the klan showed up.
I'm suprised the city recovered at all. We were national news for a few weeks then it blew over.
Don't see much in the way of community changes since either. I suspect itll simmer and blow again someday.

what a shame, its really too bad the kid got killed. he probably didn't deserve to die but the cop was protecting himself and he was in the right. as everyone here already said, a 12 year old knows they are supposed to listen to the police. it sucks for the cop because he will be marked as a racist who shot a black boy for the rest of his life.

on a person with a smaller frame like a kid, there's an increased likelihood that the rounds will hit something vital...

my dad has a buddy that he grew up with.. the guy was driving down the road one day and his steering fucked up and he ran off the road and killed a black guy.. it fucked his car up and everything, and after the insurance company deemed that it wasn't his fault, and his steering really DID go out, the insurance company paid him enough for him to buy a new car.. anyways, this was about 35 years ago, and even to this day he gets life threatening calls, and people claim that since he ran over a black guy, the KKK bought him a new car for doing so.. how fucked up is that?

Police officers are here to protect and serve the public. With that being said, they are granted the power to make decisions in the name of public safety. The kid was warned. He got what he deserved. Al Sharpton can go fuck himself. Where was he when all the black kids beat the white kid to death down south?
