Is that your white 80's? I always said that everything goes through an 'ugly' stage, Mustangs, Chargers, and a lot of others. It IS usually in the 80's, but man, your car is so car is far from ugly! It is hot! 4 inches close to the sun! Mine is on the surface. Haha. Just joking!

do you want to learn about mustangs, or are you just trying to quiz people on what you already know?

Hey, I am actually doing both. What? Do you want to teach me about Stangs? I want to know what other people think and what they like.

This 07 is my first Mustang. I actually used to be a Mopar guy, so my knowledge of Mustangs is pretty general. I know that the S197 was the first Mustang to have it's own independent design, as even the first Mustang, the 64 1/2, was based on the Falcon chassis.

I also know that mine makes me smile every time I drive it, look at it, or rub against it in a loving, sultry manner. What? Like YOU don't do the same thing.

Yeah Lee, click on a user's screen name, and a drop down menu will show you an option to add that user to your buddy list.

Anytime, Lee. Then if you look down at the 'Currently Active User' list at the bottom of the page, any screen names with a plus sign beside them are on your buddy list. You can also use your buddy list to pm up to 5 people at once.

Here is an interesting tidbit about the Mustang. I remember reading this in a Mustang book also!

1964-1/2 Mustang
I'd like to start by clearing one thing up: The 33-year-old debate on whether you can actually refer to so called 1964 1/2 mustangs as "1964 1/2," or if they are 1965's. All "1964 1/2" mustangs were registered as 1965's, and Ford referred to these cars as 1964 cars for only a brief period of time. The reason that the car isn't a 1964 is that it didn't come out in October of 1963 with the rest of the new 1964 models. Instead of waiting till 1965, Ford introduced the car in April of 1964. Of course, Ford advertised 1984 and 1994 as anniversary mustangs, only to confuse the heck out of us.
There are a few minor changes between 1964 1/2 models and 1965 models, and since I know how much you love clicking on extra links scattered all over my site, and for the sake of getting all of you mustang enthusiast all riled up about nothing, I will refer to them as two different models.
Also, you should know that there were more changes between the '65 and '66 models then there were between '64 1/2 and '65 models.
