I Need Some Honest Input (MPG)

I need to know how much improvement mpg wise i'll be looking at if i add,

CAI AEM brute force (or a fenderwell CAI anyone know haow to make one?)
UD pulleys (do they really work?)
Swapping muflers from the monstrosity of a muffler i have to say a 40 series flow with a deflector right after the outlet.

I have a 03 ford f150 5.4L SCrew 2wd. I tried to get some info from a f150 forum but got no real help.

you are wrong. mods are anything you change from stock to get a desired effect.

Sweet so hopefully i'll be lookin at being at 22mpg hwy. is there anything else i can do? i really hate going to the gas station now, esp having a 25 gal tank! and gettin anywhere from 11-15 mpg city and max of 17 hwy. I know i took a gamble with the truck but gas wasn't as bad when i got it.

man thats some bad milage for an f150, especially a 2wd.. an air intake and pullies will help a lot, and you can do a fuel economy tune as well. i would give it a tune up while you're at it because that mileage is really bad..

Ok I will correct you LOL. To an extent, with light footed driving, more HP/TQ = better MPG. With more power the engine doesnt have to work as hard as it did to acheive the same goal. Now the only prob with more HP is keeping yer foot out of it witch really hurts mpg. When you do most performance mods what you are actually doing is making the engine more efficient. The HP is a big plus too!
