i dont have any grim stories so i'll tell one about my gramps

he was wrenchin on some old car when i was younger, the jackstand gave out and the car landed on his arm. i had to run out and get a bunch of guys in the alley behind the garage to come in and lift the car up. i dont remember what he did exactly to it, but i kno he broke it or fractured it

I shatered my elbow dirtbike riding. Fell of the bike in the air I guess put my arm down to caught myself and snap there was no bone left above the elbow. My arm was limp and had to hold it up

i got my head stuck in a revolving door when i was about 6 or 7. i'm pretty sure it hurt like hell, but i don't remember. or there was the time i was playing baseball with my dad and he told me to see if i could beat the ball to the plate while he threw it from left field. i beat it, barely. after my foot touched the plate, the ball hit me in the back of the neck so hard it left the imprint from the stitches on my neck for 2 days...

Had to have an edoscopy while I was awake for the whole thing. I saw all my internal guts on a bigscreen TV during the surgery. And the whole time I was dry heaving and throwing up. Not very fun

when i was like 12 i burned my right forearm trying to strain pasta. I poured to fast cause the pot was waaaaaaay to big for me and couldn't balance it. Pain was unbareable until they put this ointment on it.....then it was just grit ur teeth.

I have two that are tied for 1st with me.

first, I used to drive a 15 foot box trcuk for an office supply store. I was under strict timestandards so I had to really fly through my stops. The back of my truck was made of wood. On the inside walls, the wood was unpainted and very dry to the point that it was slightly warped and splintering in places. Well, one day I went to grab a box of paper on the right hand wall of the truck. As I reached out to get it, I lost my balance and began to fall. Now you have to imagine this, Im falling with all my weight forward and my hand is sliding down the wall with my palm toward me. Basically, my fingernails were taking the load of my weight down the side of this wood truck. About half way down is where the trouble started. Their was splinters sticking out. The ran right underneath 3 of my fingernails.... but it didnt stop there. On two of the fingers, the dry wood penetrated all the way through my finger under the nail and out the backside. On my very midlle finger, its pryed the nail completely off. I to this day remember hearing a "popping" sound as the pressure under the nail could no longer be contained.

To this day, the scream that came out of my mouth can still be heard echoing around Detroit.
To make things worse, I drove my self to the hospital with the wood still under my fingernails and in my hand. A stick shift to boot.

I cried man. I cried.

The next one just plain sucked. I got a hemmoroid from jumping on and off a pallet jack all night when I worked for a food distributor. The hemmoroid got real bad real quick and by the end of my shift had pretty much settled outside of ass. I went to the ER where they put a needle in it to numb it. By the time they put the third shot of novacaine in my ass vein, it took some effect. Unfortunatley, it didnt work completely because I still felt them cut the vein with a scalple and put 3 stitches in the close it. I didnt shit for 3 days in fear of bustin my stiches. That was serious pain. My wife still laughs at me.
