No one knows how heavy it will be until a production car hits a dealer. A concept car would weigh more because a lot of junk is one off billet or hand made parts. Production cars get more light weigh castings and plastic.

And the Mustang GT and GT500 ae heavy too. They gain more weight every time they update.

But with 6.1L of V8, that Dodge will be no slouch! Heck, there are two LSx Trailblazer SS's on my local board that posted stock flat 14sec timeslips. I also seen a stock infinity G35 sport (306hp V6 4 door Jap-Luxo-Boat) go a flat 14 at Beech Bend.

Consider the weight of that TBSS and G35 sport and look how well they run for being heavy and 4 door vehicles. Technology and big cubes will get it done!

My bench racer book says the 6.1L Dodge will pull low 13's to high 12's stock with a good driver with a estimated 3550lbs race weight.

It is sexy!

If it weighs about the same as a stock GT, it will be hard to beat! A 425hp 6.1L hemi isn't going to go down easy, even if it does weigh a bit more. It's making 125hp more than a Mustang GT and it's making like 420tq.

And then the new LSx Camaro coming out.... Lets just say we're going to have our hands full.

god the challengers are awesome... mercury needs to bring back the cougar like dodge brought back the challenger. that would be awesome to see a retro looking cougar with a supercharged 5.4

That would be cool! But I wish Ford would hurry up with the Boss engines and get more cubes to move these new lard-ass Mustangs.

Bigbore the Ford GT aluminum 5.4L block and use the GT/GT500 heads and I'd be happy. Nothing would be more fun than a n/a high reving DOHC 358cid modular making around 435hp-450hp.

Just think of doing bolt-ons to that mofo!
