Same thing happend to me last year. Seen the rake way off in the field through the weeds. Put the gun up thought it was about a 10 at least. Shot he fell right there. And I was like dammit only an 8 point. But I was still happy furthest shot I ever made and he fell right there

well guys i'm back.. nice buck regency, and nice rifle too! i use a weatherby .270 mag its an awesome gun. i also have a .300 which is a beast, and a .340 which i have shot once and only once. the .340 is an open sighted light as hell gun and it feels like its gonna dislocate your shoulder! lol

i didn't do any good this weekend, i saw 2 does and a shit load of turkeys. but i did drink a whole lot of beer and walk around through the woods for 3 days with a gun so i'm not complaining

Hit the woods again today except I took my AR, stalked a baby doe for fun til I was about 15 yards behind her and I think she smelt me and took one glance and ran off. I plan to hit some coyote later this week. I saw an all black yote with and all white yote late tonight after night fall, would be freakin sweet if I could get both of them at and mount them together
