Has anyone seen the new Bullitt?? I think it looks pretty good but it only has 315hp and 325tq, and has anyone seen any prices on it??

I looked and looked and looked again. Just an awful looking car. Why does Ford seem to want keep re-living a movie ? The car chase was not even that good. Vomit green is not a good color, sorry.
Ford, please move on and let it go. I could not even try and make my 07 GT look worse than that monster.

Thats your opinion. But don't forget your gt is pretty much a v6 with a differn't motor and drivetrain.

315 and 325. Yet another number for the power pack becuase thats whats in it. same as the shelby gt. first they said 325 then 320 now 315? who knows. it has different brakes and some interior stuff. I think its cool. funny how someone can say its an abomination? the grille is different? you go from looks good to an abomination? You can get it in black from what I understand. The car scene is not good by today standards sure, but for 1968 it was top notch.

I love it and the car is more of a collectors limited edition thing more than a high horse power car. Thats what they make the GT-500 for.

That's kind of a redundant statement. That's like saying "Your v6 is pretty much a GT, except for the engine, the transmission, the 8.8 T-Lok, the front stabilizer bar, the larger diameter rear stabilizer bar, the bigger brakes, the different fascias."

Oh and I have to agree with TD on this one. After looking at the car more, it's pretty unattractive. I'm sure you could sharpen her up with some after market shit, though.

I am with the abomination votes on this, I posted on this last week. everything I have seen on this thing is un inspiring, the looks suck, the performance for the money sucks, and as far a collectibility...please. I'll pass for a 32k GT. I can get 315 crank HP with a tune. And on that note how many times are we going to see the same FRPP power pack on a 30K + car? We already have the Shelby GT and now the Bullit, both of which are ove 30K with not too much performance increase over a loaded 25-27K GT. Take the money you save buying a GT and get some parts (CAI, Tune, Gears, UDPs, Cat Back, a shifter, and Mabe a Drive Shaft) and you will smoke a Bullit and a Shelby GT every day of the week. Period. I swear the real abomination will come if they produce a Mach1 in the same fasion.
