As for me, these are my winter plans:

Definitely Doing
Vinyl stripes removed, getting painted on.
MGW shifter.
4:10 gears.
Finish the visual work on the stereo inside the cabin.

Possibly Doing
Comp Cams Stage III cams.
Aluminum D/S.
K member brace W/torque limiters.
Steeda rear lower control arms.
2.5" cowl hood.

Dream Of Doing Eventually. lol
Steeda Suspension Kit.
Hellion single turbo (& then a change to 3:73's from 4.10's)
Livernois forged rotating assembly.
FRPP ported heads.
Viper 6 speed conversion kit.

On Turbo cars I like to be even higher gear ratio then 3.73 something like 3.55 but your choice.

I'm not going to be worrying about trap speeds, since we have no tracks around here, so I'll enjoy smashing through the gears as quickly as I can. lol

Yeah so is your point. And I would be paying attention to that if someone would build a bloody track around here. If I ever had the opportunity to get to a track even a few times a year, then I would stick with a 3.55:1 in a turbo car.

on the mustang: shocks/springs, sway bars, adjustable control arms, headwork, race seats, new carpet, body kit, maybe hood, painting, maybe wheels, 3.73's, rebuild diff, replace axle bearings, replace intake manifold, drilled and slotted rotors.

my chevy short wide: rebuild front end, lower it, dash, new seat, wing windows, posi, gears, and hopefully an msd.

my 06 dakota: hopefully stolen or totalled.

i have over half of that stuff sitting in my garage waiting to go on. i took a second job so i can mod the cars without taking the money from the bill money. i just dont have a day off anymore. i work 12hrs a night at one job, and 8-10hrs a night at the other.

you might laugh, but i cant even get lucky enough to wreck that damn thing. i started to hydro plane one night i tried everything to get it off the road and around a telephone pole. it decided it would just dance around the middle of the 2 lane hiway and then make the turn down my street like nothing ever happened. a deisel truck cut over in my lane one night, and some how seen me and got back over. i was almost at a stop and a 1 ton truck couldnt make the stop, he took the ditch to miss me. that asshole, i wanted to get out and kick his ass. the stories could go on and on with this truck, i can never get lucky. if it was the mustang or my short wide, it would be a totally different story.

i dont like mustangs, never have. it was my wife that made the decision to get it. i told her i will do what i want to it, to make it meet my approval. i still bitch at her, because the car is a peice of shit. i try to be patient with it, but it is hard when all i do is upgrade all the parts and it still likes to take a shit on me. i am tired of its shit, that car hates me. anyone can drive that car and not have a problem, but as soon as i get in it; it will break on me. that may sound like an exageration, but i swear its true. a few friends can vouch for that. i figured if i upgrade everything, it will eventually decide to take the punishment i put to it.

start saving for a vortech on 11 psi... might tune it down to 7-8 with an under drive pulley just to prolong the life of my 10 year old motor

$520 a month!!! i bought it to tow not speed, but i get my ass kicked by stock canyons, colorados, deisels, etc. not beat, but they will strait leave me. hell its a v8, i took it down the tack one day to only run a 16.99. i think MSO coud kick my ass!
