I only have two classes scheduled so far i have to go in and find two or three more next monday...

Currently i have
Math 106 - 1130 - MTWRF
PHIL 110 - 930 - TR
PHIL rec - 1030 - F

so thats 8 hours two more classes should be nice hopefully i can get them on T and R ... that would be nice maybe some business classes or something ... if i could get a single business and then the business computer class thats 1 hour... its a total of 12 hours and three classes

yeah man. my problem is i exempted out of all but my final calculus in my math core. i just finished my final engl, i have one more humanities, one more science, and room for 15 electives in the next 3 semesters! haha. so i am farting around with some economics, accounting, and management information systems classes and some electives. summer class will be me taking something like an outdoor p.e. and something else easy

how does that 5-day math class work for you? you go for an hour a day or what?

give or take a few yes. i have a 3-credit hour class that meets only 2 1/2 hours a week...

so it'll be less than highschool, that was only 30 hours a week

well, just about the same or more actually. because you will have to navigate around a larger campus to classes that have a minimum of 15 minute interval b/w end and start times. so if you have 4 1-hour classes a day, you will be there at least 5-6 hours... just like hs.

so if you want to work (like i assume you did through hs), you could, but the workload of college isnt slack like hs was. i never opened a book other than a math book my entire schooling career just about. but you wont get by in college that way!

MW 10:45-12:20 human nutrition
TTH 10:45-12:20 english 1B
MW 12:30-1:55 U.S. History

thats a 14 unit schedule. it gets crazy.

heres what im looking at for next semester:

fire agility training
fire protection equipment and systems
chemestry
political science

Takeing 12 hours a week is a good start, thats what most people do. SOme do a little more...

Don't forget you spend almost as much time studying/HW as you do in class

im taking 14 hours to start... my current schedule isn't bad...

PHYS 150 - MWF - 1230
PHYS rec - T - 400
COMM 109 - MWF - 130
ENGL 150 - TR - 1230
GEOG 140 - TR - 200
LIBR 110 - W - (class met once and had 8 assignments due in 7 weeks)

and I only do about 2-6 hours of HW a week and rarely study for tests but this next GEOG test i have to crack down for...

AB - MATH 106 will eng up being and hour a day, not bad ... class MWF, hw TR

MSO - I have a 14 hour schedule... im only required to go to 14 hours a week so technically it is less then high school...

but if you go to a community college you can get a degree with a tiny bit more slack on the requirements... you should look into this... college = girls ... university = drunk girls

basic high performance engine blueprinting, 3 credits
introduction to motorsports, 1 credit
computer assisted design, 3 credits

total of 19 credits

that's my schedule if i go for the first semester

Geol 350 Lab =Petrology Lab Tues 12:45-2:50...0 hours
Geol 460 =Sed/Strat. TuesThurs 9:35-10:55...3 hours
Geog 316 = Fundamentals of GIS TuesThurs 8:00-9:10...4 hours
Calc 126 = Calculus MonFri 11:30-12:25, TuesThurs 11:10-12:30...4.5 hours

15.5 hours and that 8am class is going to be a BITCH!

There are 3-4 guys I know from my class that are having to drop out it sounds like due to poor grades in college, most of it is due to math classes and biology.
