So if you are in college and want to brag about your setup, beat this Spring 2008 schedule:

MIST 2090 - intro to information systems
>T/Th 9:30a-10:45a
>>W 10:10a-11:00a
GEOL 1112 - history of global change

POLS 1101 - american gov't
>T/Th 12:30p-1:45p
>>8:00a-8:50a
ECON 2105 - principles of macroeconomics

Which mean - yes that's right - I have a 4-day weekend every single week next semester. Oh, these classes are all on UGA's north campus (north of the stadium and my dorm is 20yds north of stadium), and all are a 5 minute or less walk from my room!

So yeah, who has a good schedule for next semester, and better yet, who has a 4-day weekend every week for 15 weeks

wow dude, that is a hard load. i only need 4 3-hour credits per semester to maintain HOPE scholarship. i came into school with 6 credits and am taking 6 in the summer back home to stay ahead...

but daaaaaayum, you have a heavy course load

do you plan on working too? you will have absolutely no free time if you work and take that many classes. your day will consist of finding time to eat and sleep while managing schoolwork and real work.

if you take out student loans and do just schooling, you could do that and have some free time to yourself.

how many hours of class a day? and part time is all i really plan on working i guess, its all gonna be loans and grants and whatnot

generally if you take 17 hours of credit, you will take that i classes that are like a MWF schedule. and you will have probably 5-6 classes for 17-19 hours.

3 hour classes go for 1 hour sessions three days a week or 1:15 sessions for 2 days a week here at UGA

4 hour classes go for 1 hour a day 4 days a week here at UGA.

so you will be in class about 6-7 hours a day (granted you schedule them to be back to back).

so you can have time to work, but with assignments and projects/midterms/finals, it may be a lot of stress and work.

You want to hear the great news?
It never ends! When you land a sweet gig, most respectable corporations keep your ass in classes. Of course, not every week or even every month but at least a week of classes per year. I have not gone an entire year since I was 4 years old where I wasnt enrolled in at least one course. Training/class/certification, its all the same to me. There's always something to be learned or certified in. The best part is that the best classes are in other States and the travel is all paid.

6-7 MWF and like 3-4 TR (tuesday/thursday code here)

that would be like 4 3-credit hour classes and 2 4-credit hour classes
