Holidays Are Teh Suck

Seriously, Bdays holidays etc.
Any "special" day I usually have some expectation of some fun, family time a gift etc.
I am always let down then I get pissed.

Set phazers on rant.

Take today for instance.
My bro and his wife and two kids are in town staying at my dad's in pberg.
My bro and I (who lives in columbus) decide to go get a beer/see a flick.
The wives green light it.
Later my dad offers to watch my kid over night and my sister in law gets all
pissy about it cause her kids need their rest and my little kid keeps her precious' awake.
She decides to hold my bro there till all the kids fall asleep at 9:00pm.

1st I pull my bro aside and tell him that there is no way I am taking my kid home now
2nd I give my kid a fuckin Pepsi on the way out. :twisted:

This would all be no big deal except my dad is moving to Mackinaw in 2 months and my kid never sees him as it is. Dad goes fishing every week up there Thur-Mon so when he offers to spend time with my boy I drop his ass off and don't look back.

Other days of Joy: My birthday. I drop $100 on my wife for a necklass in Aug.
In Sept the wife gets me 0.
No big, I'm not too hung up on material things but I get excuses like:
"I had to work",
"I asked you what you wanted and you never said"
"I don't know what size you are"

I'm size blowjob. How hard is that?

Here is to every day being like every other day.
Then if you decide to buy a gift for someone it actually means something.
