Mobil1 or Royal Purple are both great brands.

Ford says 5W20 though. Are you going to do it yourself?

I run Mobile 1 full synthetic.

5-20 on the newer engines, Mobil 1 or AMSoil if you can get it.

OIL

Mobil 1, great oil. Ford calls for 5W20 weight and that's what you should stay with. You should insist on a Motorcraft oil filter. It's reasonably priced and it's made for your Mustang. Enjoy your ride!

mobil 1 full synthetic or RP are the best in the bizz, 5W20 is what the manual recommends it is a lower viscosity level so hp stays high and emissions stays low. you can go w/ 5W30 and should be ok, will probly protect engine wear better, but i wouldnt go with 10W30 or anything else. if you want the best it costs more but its worth it IMO. i use mobil 1 full synthetic every 3000 miles, mobil 1 performance oil filter. very easy to do yourself, just jack up your car and get underneath, should take less than 15 minutes.

Nothing, might just rob a little HP. It won't hurt anything though. I know from experience because like a dumb ass I bough 10W30 and put it in there.

I went to Mustang Lube and Tire around where I live. Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend but thanks for the compliment?? haha. Bottom line is boys dont like girls that drive nicer cars than them, therefore, i'm single.
