Leasing a vehicle as a gift?
So is there a way that you can buy someone a vehicle, put the lease in your name and the BOS in theirs, without them knowing, if you have all their information?
I wanna buy my dad a new f350 but its not really a gift if they know about it.

You talking about buying in cash or financing?
If in cash just buy it and sign the title over later, if financed, I don't think the name on the loan can be changed, unless the payments are expected to start coming from someone else, and that person will obviously have to pass a credit application... edit: I didn't read that very well the first time... I'm not sure if you can lease a vehicle and have a bill of sale in any other name. Insurance co.'s and financing institutes will most likely have a problem with that.

Sure the credit would go to you, but I don't think it's legal to put a vehicle financed by you in another persons name.
Say something happened to you, and you were no longer able to pay, how could the bank take the truck back then if it's bill of sale is in your fathers name, who has no financial responsibility to the truck, but you still owe money on it?

If you can afford the payments, then just keep it all in your name until it's paid off. Let them know, or tell you're dad it's none of his business where the title is and he should just drive the truck and be happy.

you can put him on the ins and the title if you want.
just know you will be a responsible party. as in if the truck gets involved in a wreck you can be sued.

Buy your dad a new F350???
WoW! My dad went and looked at some loaded FX4 250's with diesels and the dealer said he could sell one for $42,000 to my dad which is alot better than when they first came out around $52,000 |

new trucks are too high dollar imo.
could never shell out 50000 for a work truck.

The 6.0 sucked for mods. They blew head gaskets left and right. My buddy was telling me about this guy he knew that has a new Super Duty all chipped out and everything with propane injection and he is running 12s with it.

yeah its a title
and i like the new trucks, they seem to be making the diesels smaller, and they hope the turbos make up for it, but the new ones seemto be doing good, plus it was either that or a nissan truck, and i dont like nissans
