Illegal for me to drink
Illegal for me to buy cigarettes
Illegal for me to gamble

Why? Because the above things have negative consequenses for me or society right?????

Then why is it totally legal for me to have sex at 16 years old?

consent means that your parents can sue someone for statuatory rape and if your willing it doesnt matter. they get in trouble

no but none the less. the parents find out they can fuck with the older person. i happened to my brother. he was 15 and she was 19. his mom didnt like her so she put a restraining order and was going to press charges for statuatory rape, put they couldnt prove it since neither would admit.
