Mom just got a Cougar

yupp I woke up today and I woke up to find out that my mom had went out and bought a 2000 Cougar. well my step dad got it I should say but its my moms. Its dark red with the 2.5li V6 DOHC duratek engine. oh and its a automatic. Over all the car is in Good shape (body Wise) it actually looks pretty cool but I woundlt ever buy one because all you ever see is Chicks driving them. lol but its a good car for my mom. plus it gets good gas milege.
I can truly say my step dad is NOT a good Car picker outer. lol I go out there and the windsheld is cracked, and the headlight is getting moisture in it, the sunroof dosent work, and to top it off the C/E light is on. if it was me I would of told them that i wasnt going to buy it intill they fixed all the stuff that was wrong with it. lol so you I have a lot of work ahead of me......

New cars are great. I just don't like paying for them. Last car I got was about 2 1/2 years ago. Still a good car and still happy that I got it.

my fiance had one for the longest time until some kid ran a readlight and t-boned her... but there is a big following of modders for those just like the v6 mustangs

yeah I dont think mom wants any mods lol. and does any one know what the little wrench light up by the dome light and the sun roof swich is for because its on. I know it isnt the C/E light because its in the cluster. There is also like some snowflake lookin lights and a whats looks like a low window washer fluid light next to it. but they are not on only the wrench light....... plus does any one know how to get to the sun roof motor because I think the gear is striped because it just clicks at you when you push the sunroof button. thanks

the snowflake light tells you when the road conditions are hazardous due to low tempeture, basically when snow or ice could form... the wrench is the maintenance required light which will turn on when you need to change the oil and what not... look in the manual for the reset proceedure. not sure about the sunroof
