Ouch!

I woke up at about 4:00am this morning and I was still in the "1/2 way asleep" mode. Some how I closed the bathroom door and my foot went with it. I ripped off my entire pinky toenail.

It hurts like crazy. Luckily it didn't bleed very much. But, do toenails grow back, even if the entire toenail got ripped off?

yeah it will grow back.. i had to have the toenail cut out of my big toe because of an infection one time... hurt like a bitch & took a while to grow back though!!

Ow, that sucks. Yes, they grow back Heather. I once dropped a hardwood 4x4 across my foot when I was picking up a load of pipe with a flatbed trailer, and my big toenail came off. It takes a while, but it will grow back. Just keep it clean, and find a hot man to rub your feet for you.

I dropped a piece of an oak tree that weighed about 100 lbs on my middle finger earlier the year. It bled underneith and hurt like a motherfucker. Everntually it started to flop around so I ripped it off then it grew back.

nah... if it where that... I'd cut myself... and that hurts... I think my small toenails have fungus or something... couse they look ugly and I'm constatnly ripping off layers of the nail though not the nail completly...

eww. You sound like you have athlete's foot. You need to get some foot powder and put it in your shoes. Your problem is you create too much moisture inside your shoes. The powder soaks up the extra moisture and at the same time heals your feet.

Is anybody else's pinky toe nail incredibly tiny? I can barely feel one there and i only have to clip it about once a month or so.
