Hey hey!

Got finished playing hookie from work yesterday, always good times. Reason being is that I wound up sleeping in until 4:00pm Monday. That was the aftermath of playing Rockband until 6 in the morning........ here is the story:

Around 6:00pm Sunday me and my little Rockband co-stars (aka "Sirius Lee", of which, my drumming alter ego is "Mr. Foamyhandsauce" which derived from the foamy hand soap in our apartment bathroom, heh heh) began to play the game... which kicks ass I might add... well around midnight we decide to play the 58 song set on hard, which if you have played drums, you are well aware that that long of a set on hard on drums is nothing short of a ball-buster setlist. So needless to say, I quenched my thirst with a new drink after every other song. Between the 4 of us, a dozen beers, and a bottle of Sky, Crown, Jager, and ABSYNTH later - we were pretty well on our way to a 2 day hangover. BUT we gained 100,000+ fans and won an assload of money AND I got some from one of the girls I was playing with after the set. So... all in all, I'd say alcohol + Rockband = the most fun I've had in a seriously long time!!!! I'm also about 99% sure there was a video taken of me taking blowjob shots off of both girls and hilariously yes even the guy in the band as well. Will post when found...

never played it but it sounds like a blast. though i used to do the real thing every weekend. 3 - 50 minute sets, free bar tab and good lookin women flashing the band. now that is a good time.

There's nothing better than playing trombone in a jazz club at 1 in the morning with a free bar tab besides the freshman college girls looking to have some fun. Which they are. All the time.

Yeah I've playing drums a little more trying to fill the void in our band, but all we have is a crappy set, which definitely wasn't designed to my taste - there's nothing quite like the real thing, you're right about that!

That was my thinking going into playing GuitarHero/Rockband on the 360, seeing as I'm an actual guitarist, I thought playing a little plastic guitar and/or electronically controlled drumsets would be pretty lame. I was wrong! It's pretty fun - we've had our old drummer come over and try to play the game and he's worse than I am... lol. I give him crap about that but I'm no drummer. I can suffice with two snares, a symbol, and kick drum but any drum set more complex than that and I find myself in need of a beer and a guitar because that's a bit much for me. lol.

used to play a little jazz on the clarinet myself. Up until I picked up guitar and piano, then I stopped playing clarinet (and some saxophone).

I live mere minutes off of the University of Washington campus in downtown Seattle. Drinking parties on every block, every weekend, college women abound everywhere you go. Fun they are indeed! Though I must say, go Cougs! WSU ftw!
