i think a type-s rsx does 0-60 in about 6.7s. thats similar to a v6 acceleration i think?

for real? I'm not doubting it, but v6s have 240tq vs 143 for the rsx type s and even horsepower numbers. Plus FWD shitty launch versus the solid rear axle RWD launch of the v6. Although the v6 does have an open diff, but the difference shouldn't make such a pronounced difference.

According to this site, not sure how accurate it is, 2005 RSX-S does it in 6.4s while the 2005 V-6 does it in 6.9s. :/ kind of depressing actually...
0-60 and 1/4 mile times for Factory Stock Vehicles

well being an auto v6 owner i can honestly say that with my open diff it wont break loose launching unless it's wet in stock form..

yeah.. but remember.. your comparing a 2800 lb car to a 3400 one... and they also come with really low gearing for launching... I think they have 4.37's or something around there stock...

I didn't think the RSXs were that light, I figured around 3,000lbs. I forgot about the gearing too.
