My dad crashed my Dodge dakota!

Ok this recent last week on tuesday, my dad crashed and totalled my 99 dodge dakota 4x4 5.2L. I'm pretty upset. I loved that truck almost as much as i love my stang (if was my 1st automobile).

Well the insurance money will be coming soon (over 7k) and i'll be buying a 1999 dodge dakota extended cab 3.9L. We'll see how that compares to my recently passed 5.2

well it had 101k on the odo and it was heavily modded.

I cant put the $ towards the stang cuz i need something to drive in the snow, and i'm obsessed with dodge dakotas haha

haha o yeah... i forgot about ur brother.

Well my dad went out and bought me that dakota tonight, its really nice. Much better condition than my other 99' and it only has 78k on her. The total came out to be $8,122 and i'm getting $7625 from insurance... i'll give my dad that money and he said since he crashed my truck he'll cover the difference. Nice of him.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow.
I even have a flowmaster 40 dual catback for a 97-03 dodge dakota 3.9l, ebay sent me that instead of a catback for a 99 5.2L, so i'll be putting that on tonight, see how it sounds.

yeah its crazy! Its really really nice though. It doesnt have a scratch on it, new tranny, new alt, new starter, new plugs, new fuel pump, brand new Altima yellow top... stock everything.

Black Leather interior (idk why its a damn truck) 4WD (i thought it was two but i realize now that its 4).

For a truck, this bitch is luxury... at least on the inside.

I'll have a few pics up with my video tomorrow in the vids section.

haha already have mine. sry, i wish you woulda told me sooner.. I had to get one right away b/c of all the snow here in indy, i had nothing to drive to school (finals this week) and my job.

really it sounds good? every v6 truck i've heard piped i haven't liked, like i would prefer my old 4 banger ranger's duals to v6 truck's. i guess because it actually had a distinct tone and changed in tone as the rpm's go up, most v6's aren't like that. like to me they just get louder and really raspy, i guess because of the gearing to help them hang with the bigger trucks. no one really expects a 4 banger ranger to pull anything real lol more like something in the back every now and then.
but congrats on it actually sounding good man!

I mean its no V8... but it most def sounds 10000x better than a v6 mustang..

Its extremely deep! it is pretty raspy 4000 and above but other than that it sounds good. I'll have some vids up in 10 or so min. Look in the videos section.
