Need Help Picking

Well i got my girl an ipod player for xmas but she went out and spoiled that by buying an ipod today cuz she was dieing with out her tunes. so i have ot take this ipod back and get her something els.

i was thinking this cuz we stepped on her old on last party we had.

It comes with a free 2GB sd card as well. I can order it from my supplier for dirt cheap (its great being a reseller) like im talking $60 which is nice cuz i can get her misc crap with the extra cash.

Im no camera expert but i know Optical Zoom is a must have. what u guys think?

I'm more of a Canon or Fuji fan, as I have had both.

Yes, optical zoom is important. The digital zoom is not as important because it really creates noisy images.

3x optical zoom is not a lot, I would look for something with at least 6x optical if you can afford it. lol

well then no sense in that...do you have the choice of other cameras to buy...zippy seems to know what he is talking about...the pixels sound good because I know that 10 mps are really good so 7.5 is close but i really dont know much...

and I my self have a Nikon, well me and my dad went half/half on it. also have a sony but thats my moms beast.

Dont like Fujitsu because of the proprietary memory modules and cannon are another great camera. but when it comes to zoom i dont know shit about shit lol i know the higher the MP the better image quality tho. and i know the nikon is good cuz u can change the lenses. my dad uses it for work allot for the magazine he works for.

well i can get some cannon, Olympus and Casio cameras for the same price with the same specs but the kodak easy share software dont work with them and thats what she is used to.
thats why i stuck with kodak

The ability to change lenses is not Nikon specific, it's a feature specific to Single Lens Reflex, or SLR cameras. Most major manufacturer's make SLR's. But they are very pricey.
